50 people.  Kids and adults.  Volunteers 15 years old  and younger need adult supervision.

Calling all volunteers! Get your lassos ready to round up the invasive air potato bulbs in Snyder Park.  The air potato is taking over trees and shrubs, and not allowing native plants the space and light they need to grow.  Once the bulbs are gone, the park will be a better place for native trees and plants to flourish, and migrating birds, butterflies and other wildlife to thrive.

Participants will receive a t-shirt (while supplies last) and refreshments. Buckets will be provided.

Prizes will be awarded for the densest air potato as well as the heaviest bucket of air potatoes collected.

Due to the outdoor activity, it is recommended all volunteers wear a hat, sunscreen, and insect repellent, plus bring their own water and snack.  Volunteers must wear closed-toe shoes and long pants are recommended.
